What We Do

Mt Holly Duck Sanctuary is a labor of love founded by a group of people who are passionate about the conservation and protection of ducks and their natural habitats. Our objective is to provide ducks with a safe and supportive environment in which they can flourish, grow, and live a healthy life. By focusing on foundation repair, we can ensure these ducks have clean and healthy water, as well as, a natural unhindered environment to nest and reproduce.

The Sanctuary

Mt Holly Duck Sanctuary is a paradise for ducks of all types, spanning acres of lush foliage and tranquil ponds. Our expertly built enclosures and habitats provide ducks with a natural environment in which to thrive, complete with clean water, plentiful food sources, and enough space for swimming and roaming. We believe in giving them a home that is similar to their natural environment in order to ensure their well-being and pleasure.

Every duck has a story to tell, a distinct personality, and an enticing appeal. In our “Meet the Ducks” section, you’ll be able to get to know the individual ducks who live in our sanctuary. Feathered Photography

Experience the fascinating beauty of ducks up close through the lens of our professional photographers. Our feathered photography captures the subtle features of their plumage, as well as their beautiful motions on water and endearing expressions. Allow these breathtaking images to transport you into the world of ducks, where each image reveals a narrative just waiting to be uncovered.

Nosework

We have started a new program to help military and law enforcement responsibly train their dogs through nosework.  Adrienne, our dog trainer, has set up a set of obstacles that will enable the dog to ignore distractions and stay on the hunt of the original scent.  This is incredibly helpful for K9 training.  Our ducks, while never harmed, serve as a very strong distraction from what the beagle or German shepherd is intended to “sniff out.”  This is a crucial part of training for them to perform without distraction once in the field of service.

Support Us

Resources are required to run a sanctuary and carry out conservation measures. If our purpose has inspired you and you’d like to help, there are various ways you may help. Donations, sponsorships, volunteering, and spreading the news about our sanctuary can all make a significant difference in the lives of the ducks we care for.
